Photographic Skills

Manual Focus features	X		I used this when I had to take pictures of models, I feel like I have used this to the maximum skills that I could. Each time I take a photo I focus it first
Shutter Speed	X		I used shutter speeds photos when I took some pictures outside. I would change it when the person is walking or running. I  had to use it when I took a picture of a car going past
Aperture control	X		I used aperture control, so that I could change the depth of field, to make some things in and out of focus. I used this to the ability that if I only wanted to get to have one object in focus then I would us F22
ISO Control	X		I used this to change the noise of a picture. I used this in my photo-shoot. I have used this to the level that I know which number I would have to change it to if I was inside or outside.
A tripod	X		I have used a tripod in film studies to make my film, so that I could track someone’s movement without making the camera wobbly.

Photoshop Skills

Which of the following features of Photoshop have you used before:

Text control	X		In Photoshop it for my front covers so that I could change the font size, and colour. On skills level I would say that I have done this very well I could change the effect of the font give it bevel.

Brushes	X		I used brushes to make my CD cover to give it an over lapping look.
Layers	X		I had used layers in my front cover
Opacity control	X		I used this on my front cover to change a button that I had made, so that it could look faded and transparent. I was able to complete this skill very well as you could just see a faded pink button effect.
Shape creation	X		I have made shape creation when I made a button on my front cover. As another sell line, I have done this well as I could make other shapes if I wanted and change the size and angle of it.
Brightness and contrast control	X		I used my brightness control on my front cover to brighten up the colour of my model, because it was too dark. I also know where to go to change the brightness and contrast.

Load selection features	X		I know how to load selection features well as I had to load the photos that I had taken in my photo shoot.

Colour curves adjustment	X		I have used colour curves adjustment in makes Zoe look better in a project that I had done. I did it to change the colour of her eyes.

Retouch tool		X	I used the retouch tool to make my model better for my front cover. I have used this to a low skill level
Other skills			I learned how to add effects to text How to change the brightness on my image i learned how to add different affects like when i made the button cell. i made it look transparent.

Margin and column guide creation	X		I put in columns and guides, so that I would know where to put my text and so that it would look like a professional magazine. I have done this to skills that I used them to that it could be at angles like eye angles.
Inserting an image ID	X		I have insert lot of images on my DPS I have four pictures that I had to put in them. I would go to import and I would choose any photo that I needed,
Resizing images in ID	X		I did very well when it comes to resizing images because I know that each time you do it, you have to hold down the control button so that it won’t stretch.
Text manipulation – resizing, rotation	X		I could use text manipulation in my DPS for my final product, so that I could rotate it for effect.
Text manipulation – controlling kerning and leading		X
Text flow creation	X		I know how to use text flow as each time you put it in a text box if there is a red X there is till more that you have to put in, so I would make another text box. I used this more for my DPS.
Using transparent imagery in ID	X		I used transparent imagery when it came to my breakout box on my DPS, I used this for effect so that it looks slightly blurred out.

Text Wrap	X		I used text wrap each time that I would have a quote insert in my DPS. This is so that the writing would be around it and I could move it anywhere so that It would look professional.
Other Skills			How to change the colour of font, I also learned how to rotate thing and add a bored, then group everything together.
